Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Unhurried Years LLC, a Florida company ("we"), about using the Unhurried Years app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
What the app is, and what it is not
Unhurried Years helps you organize your money and plan: a budget, savings goals, a debt payoff plan and, later, retirement planning. It is a planning tool.
- It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and we are not your adviser. For decisions with real consequences, talk to a qualified professional.
- Its dates and amounts are estimates based on what you enter and on simple assumptions (for example, interest rates and minimum payments that stay the same). Real results will differ.
- It is not a bank. It does not hold, move or invest your money, and it cannot make payments for you.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms.
- Use a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us right away at hello@unhurriedyears.com if you think someone else has used it.
Your data
What you enter stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the app for you, as described in our privacy policy. You can delete your account and your data in Settings at any time.
Using the app fairly
Please do not break the law with the app, try to reach other people's data, interfere with how it works, overload it, or copy or resell it. We may suspend or close an account that does, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Early testing
The app is in early testing. Features can change, appear or go away, and there can be mistakes. Keep your own records of anything important. If we start charging for any part of the app, we will tell you the price and ask for your agreement first; nothing is charged without it.
No warranties
We work hard to keep the app correct and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that its estimates will match what actually happens.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app's estimates. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing.
Ending
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may stop offering the app; if we do, we will give you notice and time to note down what you need first.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, except where the law of the place where you live gives you rights that cannot be taken away.
